This little gem is everything we hoped for! The power was more than we expected and it is really cool to drive. We like that it is small, it doesn't tear up the trail paths we have on our property. I can see many projects in our future with our Annie (machine gun Annie for the green color). She will be hauling wood next. Plus Annie will help us cut out extra work and pain on us. Be careful out there ~ there are sites claiming to be Step-Ranger, or a version of it, at a LOW price. There is only one Step-Ranger, and trust me I don't think they charge enough for this green machine. It is well worth the price. No, I am not related to the owner but I am impressed with this friend/family ran business. I may have to buy another one if my husband doesn't let me drive it ~ lol! Pull the trigger and get it, it’s worth it. Quality product, quality company. My driveway is a quarter mile round-trip to the mailbox, uphill both ways with the garbage cans. I use Step Ranger for this task weekly or more. In the fall, I attach leaf blowers to it and clear my whole yard without walking one step. In the winter, I use it on the driveway to spray salt, again without walking one single step. I find new uses for it all the time. . Several people, including some contractors who have seen my unit immediately want one. They always ask: how much? I tell them the price, and that it’s worth it. And the company stands by the product. I experienced a problem, John and Aaron, the founders, literally saw me through it, step by step. They each did FaceTime calls with me to troubleshoot and resolve my problem quickly and to my satisfaction. As I said, good product, good company. Solid buy.

This vehicle is the cat's meow when it comes to hauling wood, or other items for uneven terrain, like in groves, or forest areas. It has a range of speeds from slow to quite fast. It's battery keeps it going for many hours. And its fold down sides make loading and unloading your items easy.

This product was very new to me. I researched it the best I could on YouTube and online once I made the order I reached out to the owners via email. I was very impressed with the speed and transparency that they responded. When the item arrived, it was exactly as indicated. I live in northeast Pennsylvania.. The winters are very harsh. I use the step range for Wood transport primarily. Because we had so much snow I added chains to the wheels and it performed very well. I would definitely recommend this product and this company to anyone looking for this type of an item it’s definitely worth the money I also. I also feel confident that the customer support will be excellent given the owners.

We are using the step ranger as a tool for our business. It’s amazing in all respects. The versatility and power that this brings us is fantastic. It can truly fit into places other carts and machines can not. The load limit of 1,000 lbs is unheard of. It isn’t only fun to operate, but is also an amazing asset.

I spent a couple years looking at different options, both gas and electric, to help me with landscaping work around the property. I wanted to avoid another gas motor to maintain, so I leaned towards electric. I own electric tools and ebikes, so I know how much easier they are to maintain. I also wanted something smaller and easier to store than a golf cart. I came across the StepRanger online about a year ago and it really got my attention. My property has many narrow spots due to trees, buildings, gates, etc, which makes something like the StepRanger ideal. I pulled the trigger and received my StepRanger in Nov 2025. It's been great for my needs. I like that I can pass through the fence gates on my property and get down some narrow paths between trees. The StepRanger carries a significant amount of weight. The real test was the hill at the end of our driveway. It is a short, but quite steep, hill. Having the ability to shift it into a higher torque setting makes it possible to haul the heavy trash and recycle bins up to the street. Any useful review will have both positives and "negatives", but I really have only a couple minor issues to bring up. The design, with a rider in the rear, makes the front end steering a little "light" when empty, especially when you weigh more than 200 pounds, like me. To reduce the lighter steering, I keep about 30 pounds of block in the front of the StepRanger to balance it out better when empty. Not a big issue and only noticeable when empty. The second issue isn't really a negative, but just something to consider when measuring the bed size. I measured the bed to fit my trash cans, but I didn't realize I needed to account for the brake lever when turning the handlebar to the right. The brake lever hits the trash cans and stops the vehicle. This isn't a flaw with the StepRanger. I'm only mentioning it in case you are looking at the dimensions to carry something tall enough for the steering handle to hit, like trash cans, so you can account for the appx 6" extra needed for steering. I've found a simple workaround. The StepRanger delivery was easy. The driver communicated en route and the product arrived ready to go, no assembly needed. The driver unloaded it and I drove it to the garage. After receiving the StepRanger, I had a couple operating questions and John has always gotten back to me promptly, so kudos for the great customer service. If you don't have the desire for maintaining yet another gas motor, or you don't want to store a larger electric vehicle, the StepRanger is an ideal tool for your projects. And although I bought it to help me around the property, it's just plain fun to drive!
